Maia- Mother of Hermes

Maia, daughter of the titan Atlas and the Oceanid Pleione, was the oldest of the Pleiades- which were nymphs of companion to Artemis. Maia is mostly known as the mother of Hermes, god of messengers and thieves.

I'd like to thank a few people who made this blog possible. The first is whoever invented the Internet. Without you, there would be no blog, or a lot of the other things that I enjoy today.

Second, I'd like to thank the guys who work with Blogger and Google. I wouldn't be able to even have a blog if it weren't for you.

I send gratitude to the authors of Mythlopedia. You people act as my nine muses. You are the true inspiration to this blog.

I'd also like to thank Haley Riordan. To tell the truth, Greek Mythology wouldn't have been as popular as it is now that the world has read Percy Jackson. And your dad would never have written Percy Jackson if he wasn't inspired by you.

And lastly, I'd like to thank the Ancient Greeks. If it weren't for you and your weird thoughts, there would be no math, music, acting, Mythlopedia, or Percy Jackson. And there definetely wouldn't be a Go Greek for teens! going around the Internet.
